FREE CAT DESEXING! - 4th April

WARRATAH - WYNYARD COUNCIL COOPERATIVE DESEXING PROGRAM.

The free desexing day will be run at the Town and Country Veterinary clinic at 29 Falmouth St, Somerset on the 4th of April 2024.

Any customer from the council area that is eligible will need to have applied and been approved for a voucher.


There will be multiple desexing days depending on staffing levels and demand.


All animals will be admitted for surgery from 7am - 8:20am

Please bring your animals in their own carry cage and a copy of your voucher, photo Id and a copy of your Centerlink card.


All animals must be presented at the clinic fasted.

Which means no food after 9pm the night before and not water after 7:30am the day of surgery.


Please contact the clinic on (03) 6435 2504 to confirm your booking If you have already been put on our list.

All cats must be at least 2kg or a minimum of 6months of age to be safely anaesthetised.


If you cat is too small/young contact the desexing voucher organiser and they will extend the expiry of the voucher.

If you currently don't have a voucher and think you may be eligible than contact the council on 1300 368 992.

Voucher numbers are limited.


Only the desexing and microchip will be covered by the national desexing scheme any other medications or procedure will be charged to the owner.


Please let our staff know on admit or when confirming your booking if there is any other procedure or medication your animal requires.
